Master Integrator Agreement Contract State

The Master Integrator Agreement Contract State outlines the lifecycle of Point of Delivery (POD) assets within a network deployment project. This document describes the different states a POD asset will transition through, from design to operational transfer. These states will be encoded into a Corda Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) smart contract, enabling automation, traceability, and accountability throughout the asset lifecycle.

POD Asset States

The states through which a POD asset transitions are as follows:

  • Designed: The POD asset has been architecturally planned, with designs finalized and ready for staging.

  • Staged: The POD asset is in preparation, with all components gathered and ready for shipment.

  • Shipped: The asset has left the staging area and is in transit to the deployment location.

  • Delivered: The asset has arrived at the designated Service Area within its respective Zone.

  • Commissioned: The asset has undergone all necessary tests and is ready for installation.

  • Installed: The asset is physically installed within the network infrastructure.

  • Transferred to Operations: The POD asset is fully operational and handed over to the network operations team for ongoing management.

Each state transition is contingent on predefined criteria being met, which are enforced by the smart contract’s conditions. These criteria ensure that each phase of the asset’s journey is completed to specification before moving on to the next.

Asset Relationships

The POD assets are intrinsically linked to various elements of the network structure:

  • Zone: Each POD asset is associated with a specific Zone, characterized by the type of services and the fiber architecture implemented there.

  • Service Area: Within a Zone, the POD asset serves a particular Service Area, which it is designed to accommodate in terms of capacity and functionality.

  • Network Segments: The Network Segments, constructed by the Design-Builder, are the physical backbone to which the POD assets connect, enabling service delivery to end-users.

Conclusion

The transition states outlined above provide a comprehensive framework for managing the lifecycle of POD assets under the Master Integrator Agreement. By leveraging Corda DLT, the contract state ensures transparency, efficiency, and conformance to the deployment project’s overarching goals.
